血汗工廠?

昨天鴻海大陸的富士康工廠又有一人跳樓,這是這半年來的第十一件。
這一連串的自殺事件終於引發的各界的關注。
有人質疑富士康根本就是血汗工廠,員工不僅流汗還要流血。
 
在台灣業界流行一句話,當有人要去鴻海上班,
不管你是被挖腳的〈大部分是被高薪挖腳的〉或是應徵的,
人們會說『你要他的錢,他要你的命』
 
許多人被挖腳過去時當然談了一個不錯的package
我遇過的有些工程師過去的話薪水先加個NT5000,年終獎金照給。
如果運氣好抽個大獎,開百萬Lexus車也不是很難的事。
 
但是工作的氣氛就不依樣了。
受不了的就離開了,績效不好的就被layoff〈如果是個人績效不好被layoff還好,但是常常事部門績效不好很快的整個部門就沒了〉
 
今天聽廣播,主持人說鴻海的福利不錯阿,就是軍事化的管理或許80后的年輕人比較沒辦法承受壓力。
我倒不是很認同,其實軍事化的管理也是有原因的,
在各家削價競爭的結果,任何的一點差錯就會造成工廠的賠錢,
再如此大的壓力下管理者不要說是鴻海,就算廣達、仁寶等也是會有較激烈的手段,
但是會較人性化些。
因此所謂的福利是什麼?短期較優的薪資嗎?還是長期的福利但是大部分人都做不久。
 
不過話說回來,
造成血汗工廠的元兇是誰?
有沒有想過科技業跟咖啡豆有什麼差別?
一杯Starbucks 咖啡 NT70 但原料或中間各段的利潤是多少?
英業達的董事長葉國一先生說,他們作Notebook是『毛3到4』
現在大概是『坐二望一』了

Hi, James,
I saw this news since early this year, but I still not really understanding that why only happen at Foxcom but no other factory has the same problem? Does the management in Foxcom is really bad to staffes? I know once the company become enterprise, they only care the efficiency but no human relative. May be I am not in the field too long. Let me to have your comment on it if you have time. Thank you very much,

Maybe I can give you some reference which I got in thid field.
First, when Foxconn mentioned they are starting to be a ODM for Notebook, they told to the customer only half LOHP compare with other, they offer $10 if Quanta ask $20, so, Foxconn have to get this $10 back by high utilization.
2nd, this is knowed, when Foxconn join a bid, they don't count the price for some connectors and they will win the bid and they have to get it back like above.

Hi, James, Thanks for your information. It is sad to heard on it. Doing business like that. That is the way to do business? I really doubt on it. Earning money has different way but not treat people like machine. I saw the news that they prepare a contract and ask worker to sign it. But the pressure from outside that they stop do that. How people treat people like that. Does the world is getting mad now? Hopefully it is the only enterprise in the world doing like that. Thanks for your information.
